Thank You.  On behalf of the owner of the lost item, and all of us at Fingerprints.  It is because of people like you that Fingerprints works so well and provides a great service to the thousands of people each year who lose their personal property.  Our Rewards Policy is based on our token of gratitude to the finder.  We feel any Good Samaritan who does the right thing should be acknowledged and rewarded for their honesty.

We reward people who report a found item with a free Fingerprints startup kit which includes 4 Tags, 24 Labels and the first year of service (a $25 value).  What’s especially gratifying is a finder who labeled their belongings using the Fingerprints reward who unfortunately loses an item and gets it returned bringing the service not only full circle but serves as a testament to how valuable the service can be.

Many owners/subscribers may choose a cash reward to the finder( in addition to the reward Fingerprints offers its finders).  This can be done by filling out the “found an item” report on our site or when we contact you with the good news that your item has been found.  The amount of the reward is entirely up to you, however many owners/subscribers show their appreciation by offering anywhere from $10 to $75 to even larger amounts for items of special value. Fingerprints can put you in touch with the finder to make these arrangements once the item is safely back in the hands of the owner.
